When his mother punished him by taking him to the Edmonton Folk Festival, a teen-aged Ken Stead forgot all about rap and metal and made a life changing decision to become a singer-songwriter. Since then, he has played hundreds of shows – including the Edmonton Folk Festival. Erin Kay plays the opening set.
