The Kamis are the proud winner of the Australian Club Entertainment (ACE) Award for Best Show Band & Cover Band for four consecutive years - 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013. The Kamis previously awarded in 2010 & 2011 in the Mo Awards for Best Show Band throughout clubs in NSW.

The Kamis with its five members Simana Kami - Bass & Vocalists, David Kami -Drums & Vocalists, Amelia Kupu-Vocalists, Kethey Quicano- Vocalists, Joshua Kami - Keys & Vocalists have performed together for more than a decade.

What makes The Kamis unique from other bands? It’s the fact that the five members are all brothers and sisters, all grew up together, all worked hard together, all found the passion for performing their musical talents and keeping it as professional, real and live as possible.

Guest starring with the Kamis are 2008 Australian Idol top 10 Soul and R&B artists Madam Parker. Performing live with The Kamis, Madam continues to record originals and working alongside international R&B artists and performers. Joseph Gatehau is another guest performer working alongside with The Kamis. Joseph is no stranger to the music industry. He was in the Top 12 for Australian Idol in 2006. In 2011, his group ‘Three Wishes’ was a Top 4 act for X Factor. Last but not least, Aaleatha Sandstrom occasionally guest stars with The Kamis. Aaleatha has appeared at a host of corporate events and is a regular to the Sydney live music circuit. Aaleatha continues to entertain crowds at some of Sydney’s top venues.

The Kamis are in high demands throughout Clubs NSW, Leagues Clubs such as Canterbury Leagues, Wenty Leagues, South Sydney Juniors, Eastern Suburbs Leagues, Club Central Hurstville/Menai, Revesby Workers, Bankstown Sports, Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL, Penrith RSL, Penrith Panthers, Bondi Icebergs, Rooty Hill RSL, Revesby Workers, Panthers Port Macquarie, Central Coast Ettalong, Twins Town to name a few.

The Kamis have performed at Rock Lily Star City, Notes Newtown, Blue Beats Double Bay, Basement, One World Sports Parramatta, Brewhouse Darling Harbour, Harbour Cruises, Doltone House, La Montage and many receptions throughout Sydney.
