◉ Eliazar (Default Machine / Katerblau / Berlin)

Since 2001, Eliazar Sanchez has been playing with various video techniques using digital errors, spontaneous reproductions and images in real time - drawing from a large urban influence to create a gig experience like no other. Eliazar was a member of the (now defunct) production Haiku , who curated a series of events in 2003, working in festivals like MUTEK, LPM, INTERFACE and FLYING CIRCUS.
Since 2006, Eliazar began producing audio to complement his video work, exploring ways to compliment his awesome visuals with a sound that reflects the progressive nature of his work. His projects can be described as a touch experimental - with minimal sound manipulation which results in audiences understanding and deciphering the messages conveyed, something that has ensured he stays in demand globally.
In August 2009, the producer found himself on the Caribbean Coast; which in turn resulted in working with the legendary Kater Holzig (Bar 25 now KaterBlau) in 2011. The club then invited him to join them in Berlin, where he is now based.
In 2014 Eliazar started his own record label Default Machine.
