Described as a serious Australian talent, Leanne is the Qld Music Awards winner for best “Blues & Roots” artist with her debut album, “Pull Up Your Britches” being described as remarkable by Rhythms Magazine.
Leanne weaves a rare mixture of styles driven by a raw and honest performance, peppered with cheeky lyrics and a fiery backhand. Her eclectic repertoire of Folk/Blues and Horror-Country has seen her perform with acts as diverse as The Audreys, Sticky Fingers and Kasey Chambers.
She has grabbed the attention of Triple J with them debuting 3 x tracks off the album, along with being named as a favourite emerging artist by Double J’s Emma Swift.
