Join us on The Deck Creekside for an Oktoberfest style event right here in Currumbin!
Currumbin RSL is bringing back Oktoberfest Currumbin RSL style. The Deck Creekside will become a Bavarian Beer Garden complete with some thirst quenching German beers, delicious German food and German music!
Zoltan and the Huns will perform a variety of traditional and popular German songs plus a few party tunes thrown in for good measure from 12 noon. Together the band has performed all over the world and will bring a wealth of experience to the stage. Oh ja, das ist gut!
Of course there will be German sausages like Knackwurst and Bratwurst with the all important sauerkraut and while the main festivities are happening creekside, the rest of the Club is joining in too with our Creekside Cafe offering delicious apple strudel and black forest cake and Alleys restaurant offering the traditional German Schlachtschussel, a meat lover’s dream; a dish with roast Kessler (salted pork), bratwurst, crispy bacon, sauerkraut and potato.
Get out your lederhosen and enjoy a thirst quenching beer, great music and delicious food, Bavarian style!
This is a family friendly event and free to enter and festivities are on between 11am and 4pm.
