With a classically trained, choir master mother and a father who insisted on raising her with a heavy diet of The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Genesis, it's no wonder Sam Buckingham grew into a widely influenced artist, with a deep respect for the lyrical quality and integrity of a song.

Buckingham has toured with much loved Australian artists such as Katie Noonan, Angie Hart and Lior, and has graced the stages of Peats Ridge, Nannup, Blue Mountains and National Folk Festivals, has showcased at the International Folk Alliance in Canada and made her US performing debut at the infamous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.

With her powerful folk sensibilities and strength as a singer songwriter, Buckingham brings unique interpretation to each song she covers, and has an uncanny ability of completely transforming the meaning and feeling of a song – simply by making it her own.
