Rowan Pattison is an Australian jazz and contemporary guitarist. After completing his undergraduate degree, graduating with First Class Honours from the University of Tasmania, Rowan took a contract in the United States with Royal Caribbean International as the guitarist in the 'Grandeur Orchestra' an 8-piece group playing a wide range of music for musicals, backing guest performers and playing big band and jazz sets. During his time in the U.S, Rowan worked with many performers with impressive careers spanning television, Broadway, Las Vegas and London’s West End. His resumé now boasts artists such as American singer Bobby Arvon (Happy Days), Broadway star Michelle Murlin, American Idol finalist Lou Gazzara, Marcus Terrel from America’s Got Talent, Vegas Trumpet prodigy Greg Bohnam and American Comedian James Stevens III, who is featured regularly on The Tonight Show and Comedy Central.

Now based in Melbourne, Rowan has just lead his own trio concert Impressionism of Bill Evans on a tour of Europe playing concerts in Kyiv, Lviv, Krakow and Paris. Rowan now works with numerous Australian based projects including an album of original music while he continues to build his professional profile as one of Australia's exciting young musicians.

Tom Panckridge has been an active musician in the Australian jazz scene since the age of 14 and has performed and toured both nationally and internationally with dozens of acclaimed artists including Gordon Goodwin, Wycliffe Gordon, James Morrison, Kate Ceberano, Jeff Clayton and Mat Jodrell. To date, Tom has featured on two albums, received one ARIA nomination and has appeared as a featured soloist at dozens of prestigious clubs and venues throughout Australia such as Sydney’s The Basement Melbourne’s Bennett’s Lane, the Doo Bop club in Brisbane and the Adelaide Festival theatre with many different bands as well as presenting his own quartet and combos under his own name. Tom is also a dedicated educator, engaging in private tuition of multiple instruments at all levels of ability, and conducting school workshops across several states.
Recently completing a Bachelor of Music at the James Morrison Academy of Music under the guidance of Mat Jodrell, Carl Mackey, Ross Irwin and others, Tom has gone from strength to strength. As a regular member of the JMA’s top-tier Jazz Orchestra, Tom has toured throughout Australia and was featured on their debut album “James Morrison and his Academy Jazz Orchestra”. The album also toured across the United States where the band performed in New Orleans, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola in New York, the legendary Green Mill Jazz Club in Chicago and with the Grammy nominated One O’Clock Lab Band in Texas.
In 2017, Tom was accepted into the prestigious Honours year at the James Morrison Academy and embarked on a study tour of the USA and a month-long national tour with the JMA Honours Ensemble. The study tour visited the University of North Texas, The Thelonious Monk Institute in Los Angeles and The Juilliard School in New York, while the national tour took the band to 18 different venues across the east coast of Australia over four weeks.
