Since our establishment in 2011, we have brought a unique sound to traditional underground culture. From Nottingham, to Luton, we thank everyone for the support they have given us, and we hope this will remain in the new year; allowing us to continually build on the underground scene in Luton. On Saturday 27th December we’ll be celebrating our 3rd birthday event, and are bringing you two of the most highly acclaimed female producer/DJ's in the UK - Flava D & DJ Barely Legal.

“Flava D productions span House, Garage, Hip Hop and Grime. She signed to Butterz in early 2013 and has since released two critically acclaimed records for the label: 'Hold On' and 'On My Mind', a collaboration with Royal-T. She has also delivered a club smash 'In The Dance' for Formula Records.

In between these her own download series has garnered attention from Fact, Mixmag, Dummy, SBTV and countless other websites attracting thousands of downloads. You can find all five volumes on FlavaD.com.

In the clubs and when she pops up on Rinse FM her DJ sets focus on her own original productions, collaborations and remixes. She has already taken her sound around the UK and beyond: New York, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Lisbon, St Petersburg and Barcelona have all had the Flava D experience so far.”

“Her selection of rugged and varied styles of electronic music initially turned the heads of underground authorities such as Marcus Nasty and Scratcha DVA, who broadcast her mixes on the notorious Rinse FM. A feature on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s 1500 seconds of Fame soon followed, demonstrating to the mainstream her ability to seamlessly weave beats together. This resulted in a call back six months for her popular fortnightly Daily Dose Mix series.

Her success on the airwaves paved the way for her transient rise to the live stage. Barely has received bookings at some of the biggest clubs in the UK and around Europe, and performed at the celebrated Outlook Festival in Croatia three years running. Her eclectic set lists has often been a breath of fresh air across dancefloors nationwide, adding dimension and colour to the fashionable House backdrop of contemporary clubland.

Retrospectively it seems inevitable that Barely Legal would attract the attention of Grime godfather, Wiley, who invited her to play at his Eskimo Dance and MC’d over one of her Daily Dose mixes alongside the formidable Scratchy, Riko Dan and God’s Gift. Regardless of anyone’s opinion, Chloe Robinson is becoming increasingly hard to ignore. With rumours of her own forthcoming production, her peer reviewed talents are fast developing and will surely see her become a fierce competitor as a producer.”
