Dennis Rollins’ Velocity Trio return to Fleece Jazz after a storming gig in 2014. Celebrated for his versatility and muscular approach to playing, virtuoso trombonist Dennis Rollins has played at the forefront of UK jazz, funk and pop for 25 years, performing with such stars as Maceo Parker, Courtney Pine and The Brand New Heavies. An award winning leader in his own right, Dennis comes with a sonic vision that unifies traditional brass sounds with club culture beats and the whole spectrum of Afro-Carribean jazz sounds.

His latest project features the highly talented Hammond B3 master Ross Stanley and fiery London-based Portuguese drummer Pedro Segundo. Ross is a frequent visitor to Fleece Jazz; a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, he has never failed to astound us with his brilliance and versatility on keyboards. He is one of the UK's top jazz pianists and constantly in demand for his flowing, creative and lyrical playing. Pedro is one of the most in-demand percussionists and drummers on the international circuit and is lauded for his infectious and enthusiastic playing style.
