Party: An evening with Ivan Drever

Tynecastle’s newly renovated Gorgie Suite will host the legendary Scots folk singer and songwriter, Ivan Drever on Wednesday October 11th.

Ivan has kindly agreed to perform in this special fundraiser for the Tynecastle Redevelopment Fund.

With a career spanning over four decades, Ivan is famed for both his solo work and his partnerships with Duncan Chilsholm and Ian Cooper (known collectively as The Knowe O’Deil). During the 1990s he was also the front man of the rock band Wolfstone.

Ivan’s songs and tunes have enjoyed world-wide acclaim over the years, with one of his collaborative works, Heart & Soul (co-written with Duncan Chisholm), featuring in the Robin Williams film Good Will Hunting. This year, Ivan played to packed out audiences at Celtic Connections and this gig promises to be a real treat for fans of Scottish folk music.
