This inspirational woman arrived in Australia in 1970 to star, at 16, in the musical “Hair”. Since then she has become a beloved and integral part of the Australian music and entertainment industry. 22 albums, 2.6 million sales, countless chart topping singles and multi-platinum albums. Marcia has constantly re-invented herself and in doing so set industry benchmarks. From Jesus Christ Superstar to Queen of Pop, to Australian Idol’s favourite judge for the 7 years it was broadcast, inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007 and the Order Australia (AM) in 2009, Marcia continues to be ageless and inventive.
