JAWS

JAWS are a Soul/Funk/R&B trio. The band is lead by William Cartwright on Bass/Vocals and Guitarist James Mills. We play a mix of covers from artists like D'Angelo, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Prince and many more.

The three members are all from Glastonbury town but are involved with the Bristol music scene playing in various projects. William Cartwright has been part of Bristol's Drum&Bass scene for many years working with 'DJ Die', 'Interface' and 'Joker' as well as playing Bass with 'Kelis'. James Mills is an exciting young session guitarist who mostly works in London on the Funk/Soul circuit and I session and play in different Bristol bands like Laid Blak, The Duval Project, James Morton and Dub From Atlantis.
