Kookamunga

Kookamunga are a Cardiff based powerhouse who deliver an unquestionably addictive and unique rhythmic sound that has embodied a style that lies somewhere between an early 60's rock sound reminiscent of Janis Joplin's Big Brother & The Holding Company, to the pivotal funk sound of Sly & The Family Stone.

Small Town Echoes

In simple terms Small Town Echoes produce jagged Indie fused with Hip Hop however, collectively the group have backgrounds in Hip-Hop, Alt-Rock, Punk, Break-Beat, experimental Indie and Acoustic music.

After a chance meeting on a building site during the summer of 2013 Pete & Dieter arranged to hook up with Tom his brother Luke and Kassia with the aim of collaborating on a project. The song writing process began immediately, leading to a live recording in May of 2014. A series of gigs with groups such as Cuba Libre, Yo’True, Design, The Marginal and Twin Falls followed. Subsequently Small Town Echoes set about recording their first EP with long-time friend Ben Turner (Stage 2 Studios / Big Truck Music) which is due for release on the twentieth of April and will be followed up by live performances throughout the year.
