At the hub of the Riverbank is an informal, but ever-bustling deli neatly 'sandwiched' between a tasty state-of-the-art architect-designed bar and brasserie-style restaurant, serving some of the best food in town under the creative supervision of our head chef, Mark Osborne. Mark's kitchen ethos is to source the finest local produce to create a simple & affordable, yet well-cooked cuisine.
You may prefer to choose from a menu of traditional fish and chips or perhaps a mouthwateringly tasty homemade burger. However, rest assured that there will always be a few special, cheffy dishes on offer to tempt even the most discerning of 'foodies' - classics like scallops with black pudding - indeed, the Riverbank can proudly boast a broad spectrum of dishes to suit all palates; the choice will happily be 'all yours'!
The Riverbank is the latest addition to a family-run, Nottinghamshire restaurants' business, which opened its first 'Trentside' eatery in 1986 with the highly successful, award-winning Tom Browns Brasserie in Gunthorpe, followed by the very popular sister restaurant, The Farndon Boathouse, located just outside Newark in 2008.
So whether you are looking to dine-out in style or just fancy a light bar snack, or maybe wish to imbibe a relaxing cocktail after work (especially during our weekday Aperitivo Hour from 5-7pm, where we offer free tapas) or every evening even get to hear some vibrant live sounds, then we look forward to welcoming you to the Riverbank restaurant and bar in Nottingham very soon...
