Country music favourites, the Sunny Cowgirls (sisters Sophie and Celeste Clabburn) are back! With their enormously popular sound, is their 8th studio album and ABC Music label debut.
The Sunny Cowgirls have set about spinning 12 fresh new yarns rooted in the sun-kissed soil of rural and regional Australia. It’s a dedication to the working men and women who keep the wheels turning and Australia fed, overflowing with
fired-up summer anthems and hymns to mateship, hard work, and the incomparable Aussie summer. On this new recording, in an already storied career, Here We Go is a stunning and remarkably colourful tapestry, into which the Sunny
Cowgirls weave the golden threads of so many stories–stories with roots squarely in the ageless bush, and nurtured by the sure hands of the people who call it home. As Sophie explains, “We really wanted to get back to our roots and
make this album sound like classic Sunny Cowgirls.”
The first single ‘Cowboy’ is a warm slab of country fun and a sly wink to country bachelorettes everywhere. As the lyrics herald, ‘A Hemsworth kinda cowboy, that’s who I’m gonna meet, I’ll keep# lookin’ through those paddocks till I wind up on my feet.’
In true Sunny Cowgirls style, Sophie and Celeste have a full calendar of tour dates kicking off with the Deni Ute Muster 2016 and taking in towns and cities Australia wide.
