Flight Brigade have just put the finishing touches to their debut album, co-produced by Gavin Monaghan (The Editors, Kings of Leon, Robert Plant, Paolo Nutini) and mixed alongside Donald Clark (The Knife, Noah & The Whale, Muse) at Artillery Studios with multi-Grammy nominated Mandy Parnell (who mastered the new Bjork album), at the mastering controls. The album is due for release in early Autumn.
In the build up to The Great Escape Festival and a summer full of live dates, Flight Brigade have released the official music video for their upcoming single ‘Housefire’, a truly remarkable visionary experience. Set in the stunning Welsh mountains, a location that would not look out of place on a Bon Iver video, it follows the story of a girl fleeing the haunting influence of her past. The director utilises powerful imagery with effective cinematography which contrasts starkly against the solitude of the landscape. It is visual poetry, a masterpiece considering it was produced on a ZERO BUDGET!
