Coy Theobalt (Ntrensik Sound) is based out of Asheville North Carolina. With a background in Audio Engineering, Coy has been involved with music production for almost 20 of his 30 years. Coy's DJ Style is steeped heavily in world music, and quite often borrows elements from Indian, and middle eastern classical music, which he became enthralled with upon his 2 year period living in India. Ntrensik has a unique way of blending things like Tech House, Psychedelic, and Down Tempo. If you had to define his sound as a genre it would best fit into the category of Yoga Dub. When Coy is not on the airwaves, he can be found working with local bands in the recording Industry, a skill which learned at The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, and later developed at Prairie Sun Recording Studio (best known for their work with Tom Waits.) So settle in and enjoy this aural rejuvenation.
