With Shimmy’s third set of Freshers coming up in a few short days, we’ve decided to let you all in on some of the great events we have planned over Glasgow’s best week of the year:

MONDAY - No Way : Pre Season
Glasgow’s infamous student Wednesday pops its head up early in the week. Feeling a bit out of shape after summer? No Way will easily warm you up in time for the rest of Freshers.
*Free entry in your society sport attire.

TUESDAY - Hubba Tuesdays
Juicy’s little brother. Think of it as the naughty one.

WEDNESDAY - No Way : The Orange Wednesday Takeover
Over the last two years, No Way has cemented itself as a Strathclyde student institution. The best and - quite often - not so brightest of the University’s sports societies going at it, week in, week out on the now infamous; “everything a pound” attitude. An event to experience first hand; things get out of hand.

THURSDAY - Kooky Tribes
Our brand new student Thursday, celebrating everything about the weird and wonderful aspect to Glasgow’s nightlife. #releaseyourinneranimal
*Free entry in tribal/ animal stripes.
Plus face painter indside.

FRIDAY - The Paper £1 Rum Club
Our weekly affordable weekend clubbing option to the poor students of Glasgow. Free in all night for students and drinks from £1. Paper is one to watch this year.

SATURDAYS - Shimmy Saturdays x Ciroc
Glasgow’s premium Saturday night, with a Ciroc twist.

SUNDAY - Likewise Half Time Party w/ Melt
The Melt moniker is synonymous with parties. Both gentleman have been part of running some of the best student orientated house and techno events in Glasgow over the last 5 years across Sub Club, Chambre 69, The Berkeley Suite and The Arches; and have very kindly agreed to get the party going for Likewise with our Sunday night resident, the one and only Stevie Foy. Expect a broad mix of house, techno, hip hop and party anthems. Expect a complete and utter party.
