Portland-based country/rock band The Lights Out will hold a record release party at The White Eagle for their new double album titled "Totem Animal Girls."

This is the third release from The Lights Out, and their first double album. "Totem Animal Girls" was recorded over 5 days in a house in Bend, Oregon. The recording process was influenced by the style of "Exile on Main St." and "Music from Big Pink" where band members lived together, wrote together, and jammed together to create an album that is as much about a place as it is about the stories contained in the songs.

The Lights Out formed in Portland in 2005 and have played the White Eagle many times since then. The band's indie country-rock sound and tongue-in-cheek lyrics make for a fun night of live music, beer drinking, and dancing.
