Vinyl Gold is a jazz-influenced funk band playing original music, from Portland, OR. Influences include Jamie Lidell, Jamiroquai, Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, The New Mastersounds, The Meters, and The Greyboy Allstars.

Founders and songwriters Mark Bennett and Sarah Tollefson are long-time friends and bandmates who have been playing music together in other bands for almost 10 years. Their dream is to fill dance floors with sweaty, exuberant new friends and to bring their brand of jazz-influenced funk music to the people!
