A LA VINO TINTO Is a five piece latin/world music band that exposes a variety of styles

from spanish rumba to brazilian bossa nova along with cuban son, reggae & rock. Their

unique sound is achieved through the originality of their compositions and the

freshness of their performances. Their second album PLANETA KALIENTE has been

broadcasted in 4 counties and nominated as best world album of the year (GAMIQ).

The group recently shared the stage with Oscar winner JORGE DREXLER (Motorcycle

diaries) in a show in Montreal. Their song BONSOIR POLITICIEN was on the French top 20 of

CIBL FM for 5 consecutive weeks. The group also covers many famous artists like

Buena Vista Social Club, Juan Luis Guerra, Santana and Paco de Lucia, to name a few.

Following their particular music style, A LA VINO TINTO mixes a variety of music influences and

languages in the same song to achieve « ÒU EST LA CLÉ », the first single of their next album

PRESENTE coming up in September. This song starts as a Cha cha cha rhythm switching to a slow

Ska (or fast reggae…as you wish to understand it) and ending with a pop-rock flavour. The lyrics

(sang mostly in French but also in English and Spanish) talk about hope, social problems and

gives some tips to face them.
