Une chanteuse canadienne et deux musiciens hongrois qui jouent un mélange de swing, blues, folk américain et manouche. C’est quoi ? Nous l’appelons Frim Fram !

Actuellement basé en Europe, Frim Fram est ravi de jouer à Upstairs alors qu'ils sont à Montréal. Eleanor Young (de Montréal) chante à voix douce, claire et expressive, accompagnée de sa guitare acoustique. Une véritable lady enchantante qui donne vie aux chansons et rend hommage à leur histoire.

Peter Modos (de Hongrie), guitariste charmant et harmoniciste hallucinant, rajoute des saveurs uniques de blues avec ses mélodies parfois taquines, parfois lyriques et envoûtantes.

Laszlo Koos (de Hongrie) joue la basse avec ses rythmes de funk et motifs plein d’esprit.Ce virtuose stupéfiant sait comment mettre le groove dans votre swing.

Leur approche enjoué des vieux standards va vous régaler et vous faire taper du pied !

A Canadian singer and two Hungarian musicians that play a mix of swing, blues, folk and gypsy jazz. What’s that? We call it Frim Fram! Currently based in Europe, Frim Fram is thirlled to play at Upstairs while they’re in Montreal.

Eleanor Young (born and bred in Montreal) is an enchanting little lady with a clear, sweet and expressive voice.
Accompanied by her acoustic guitar, she sings from her heart, and she sings to tell a story, bringing the lyrics of the songs alive.
Peter Modos (Hungary) is a delight on the guitar and oh so hot on the harmonica. He adds his unique flavour of the blues with themes and melodies at times roguish, and at others lyrical and haunting.
Laszlo Koos (Hungary) keeps it all together on the bass with his funky rhythm and soulful lines, he’s anything but your average bassist. This jaw-dropping virtuoso knows how to put the groove in your swing.

Their playful approach to old favourites will get the mugs a muggin’ and the toes a tappin’!
