La chanteuse, auteure et comédienne Myreille Bédard offre un spectacle sans artifices, vivant et pétillant. Entre jazz, chanson et musiques du monde, son répertoire est composé de chansons originales, signées de sa plume, ainsi que de reprises de standards populaire et jazz, qu’elle s’approprie de manière étonnante.

Révélée au sein du réputé groupe vocal a cappella La Bande Magnétik, avec lequel elle a chanté notamment au Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, elle a deux albums solo à son actif Éclats de vie et Comme le vent. Elle apparaît sur l’album compilation Putumayo Québec et a été consacrée Découverte Planète Jazz de la station de radio du même nom.

Singer, lyricist and actress Myreille Bédard offers a sparkling live performance without artifice. Blending jazz, chanson and world music, she carries the audience with joy. Her repertory is composed of original songs of the artist mixed with jazz and popular standards which she appropriates in her very own way.

Myreille was first revealed with renowned a cappella vocal group La Bande Magnétik with whom she performed at International Montreal Jazz Festival. In addition to her two solo albums Éclats de vie and Comme le vent, one of her songs appeared on the compilation album Putumayo Québec and she has been chosen artist of the month by Planète Jazz twice.
