Party: BITTERSCENE presents Piney Gir + Muertos + The Lemoncurd Kids

Piney Gir, born in Kansas USA but based in London, brings her edgy indie-pop to the depths of the Bassment.

She has been described both as a musical “chameleon” for performing in many different guises and as “the indie Dolly Parton” so we can’t wait to see what surprises are in store!

Piney’s extensive touring has seen her play the likes of Glastonbury (where she has a page dedicated to her in the book Glastonbury Festival: The Complete History), South By Southwest and CMJ Music Festival.

She has also collaborated with artists including Andy Ramsay (Stereolab), Rob Campanella (The Brian Jonestown Massacre), Eamon Hamilton (Brakes, British Sea Power) and Simple Kid, and was a member of cult all-girl band The Schla La Las.

Piney has played many times at the Bassment under legendary local promoters, Bitterscene, and we are proud to announce Jacki, Paul & Mark aka Bobbi will be coming out of retirement to team up with us for this very special show!
