Neil Barke, making his WALLOP! debut, brings his disctintive style to the Bassment boards. With a compelling voice, cool acoustic guitar and a brooding presence, we're so happy to have Neil kick things off for us. Hemmingway bring elements of drum n bass, grime, punk, electro and pop together to create their own unique sound. Lyrically, they do not shy away for controversy. Their songs range from commenting on domestic violence, immigration and austerity to name a few. Always socially conscious, they hope to strike a chord in people's hearts, whilst shaking the foundations of every venue they play with their huge sound. All the way from Paris (France), we are hugely excited to welcome the indomitable Casablance Drivers to our humble little evening as part of their UK tour! Slinky guitars, groovy beats and psychedelic sounds; what more do you want to blow you away on a Wednesday? The WALLOP! intern is practicing his je ne sais quoi's as we speak.
