Saturday June 13th sees local promoter Holy Boredom return a second year running to take over Cardiff’s iconic Clwb Ifor Bach, for a day of surreal sounds which I doubt the phrase ‘weird and wonderful’ will even begin to sum up. Don’t expect your average microfestival of the sort that’s looking for new bands with the potential to be next year’s ‘big thing'; instead this event caters to all that is unusual, experimental and downright odd. As Cardiff’s most popular* small venue, Clwb is the perfect location, positioned in the middle of Womanby Street at the heart of the city’s live music district. The acts will be spread between the top and bottom floors of this three-storey building, an oasis of bizarre in the midst of the metropolis.
