Candelas
Perfformiadau byw ffrwydrol, a chaneuon sydd wedi creu cynnwrf heb ei debyg ar donfeddi Radio Cymru. Mae Anifail bellach yn anthem Gymraeg, a’r hogiau wedi ‘sgubo tair o wobrau Y Selar (cylchgrawn cerddoriaeth Cymraeg) iddynt eu hunain yn 2014. Y roc melodig trymaf i ddod allan o Gymru ers gormodedd o amser, a bydd yr albwm newydd yn barod i’w meddiannu fis Rhagfyr 2014.
Explosive live performances, and songs that have generated great excitement on Radio Cymru’s wavelengths. Anifail has become and Welsh anthem, and the band swept up three awards at the recent Y Selar (Welsh-language music magazine) awards. The heaviest melodic rock to come out of Wales for far too long, and the second album will smack us in our faces in December 2014.
Sŵnami
Ers ffurfio yn 2010, mae sŵn Sŵnami wedi datblygu a thyfu, â’r gân sy’n benthyg ei henw i’w EP, Du a Gwyn, yn ysgwyd gyda’u grym. Maen nhw wedi eu dewis i chwarae yn Eurosonic Noorderslag 2015, wedi eu dewis fel un o fandiau BBC Introducing a phrosiect Gorwelion, ac wedi eu chwarae’n fynych ar C2 (Radio Cymru) a rhaglen Jen Long (Radio 1). Mae’r ddwy sengl ddiweddaraf, Cynnydd a Gwenwyn yn addewid go gadarnhaol y bydd yr albwm sydd ar y gweill yn gorcar.
Since forming in 2010, Sŵnami's sound has developed and matured, and their EP's title track, Du a Gwyn, shudders with force. They've been chosen to play at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2015, chosen as one of the BBC Introducing and Horizons project's bands, and have frequently been played on C2 (Radio Cymru) and by Jen Long (Radio 1). Their latest two singles, Cynnydd and Gwenwyn, are convincing signs that their up-coming album will be a corker.
Yr Eira
Crewyr un o ganeuon Cymraeg mwyaf bachog y ddegawd diwethaf, Elin, a’r ddwy sengl Yr Euog ac Ymollwng. Gwnewch eich cymariaethau eich hunain, ond mae EP diweddaraf Yr Eira, Colli Cwsg, yn brawf eu bod yn fand cyffrous â'r gallu i greu caneuon pop bachog rif y gwlith.
Creators of Elin, one of the catchiest Welsh songs of the past decade (in a good way!), and two recent singles, Yr Euog and Ymollwng. Make your own comparisons, but Yr Eira's latest EP, Colli Cwsg, is evidence enough of this exciting band's ablilty to write catchy pop songs galore.
