Party: The Darebin City Jazz Orchestra

The Darebin City Jazz Orchestra is a high quality large jazz ensemble affiliated with the Darebin Brass organisation. The ensemble features some of Melbourne's finest big band exponents and performs a wide variety of works written by members of the band. It is a community based ensemble created in order to empower highly developed musical skills and workshop and perform new works for jazz orchestra written by its members. When required the ensemble also performs as a big band to support community related events in the Darebin area. Tonight’s performance will feature on vocals the wonderful Harriett Allcroft and Laura Nichols.
