Grupo de Cubano is known in Cuba as one of the leading bands of traditional music. Their rich harmonies have been pleasing crowds in Santiago de Cuba since their inception in 1999, presenting a varied repertoire of traditional Cuban music, a capellas, romantic ballads, salsa, son, guaracha, merengue, cumbia and bachata, reflecting a unique style and interpretation. Grupo de Cubano have even played for the pope on his visit to Cuba.
