Famous for his swing, dynamics and tight arrangements, Ray Brown led one of the most successful touring groups in jazz history under his own name and worked with a literal who's who of jazz. Bassist John Lee is a no-nonsense player with virtuosity, a strong pulse and a deep understanding of the Ray Brown spirit. Pianist Nick Peck brings a freshness and creativity to the hard-swinging piano chair of the trio. Drummer Kelby MacNayr brings an electrifying dynamic, imagination and deep swing. "
