Doctor Werewolf Bio

Doctor Werewolf is back with the sophomore EP Crungle, released by premier US bass label, Simplify Recordings. Crungle mixes big room sounds with Trap, DnB, Glitch, Twerk and a whole lot of his signature party friendly silliness.

The time has flown since Sydney's Doctor Werewolf dropped the chart topping Sound of Dubstep compilation on Ministry of Sound and debut EP Wolfzilla on Klub Kids, catapulting them to the forefront of Australia's party bass scene.

What has the Doctor been up to since then? A lot.

• Multiple spine-tingling club tours around Australia taking in all the biggest clubs.
• Many hair-raising international and local festival appearances including Stereosonic, Field Day, Parklife and Motion Notion.
• A swathe of blood-curdling remixes and originals riding high in the beatport charts.
• A series of bone-rattling bootlegs that have pulled in over 1,000,000 streams online and grabbed support from heavyweights such as TC, ShockOne, Phetsta, Specimen A, Toronto is Broken, Optimus Gryme, Kissy Sell Out, Freq Nasty, Kid Kenobi and Mt Eden Dubstep.
• Hundreds of knee-slapping parties rocked.
• 1 rather hilarious story about hot wings.

Confounding the laws of Party Physics (one of the major units of study in the Doctor's PHD) his DJ show has become even more wild, now fusing the cutting edge of bass sounds with the biggest party classics rocking the world's festival stages. All whilst still retaining its original, glorious, beer splashin', panty flingin', bass face pullin' lack of charm.

A night out with Doctor Werewolf behind the decks consists of a lot of big drops, a lot of terrible jokes, chaos on the dancefloor, crowd participation, terrible jokes, sweat dripping, overworked sneakers straining to hold together, a couple of drunk people making out awkwardly in front of everyone, and some terrible jokes. And if you're very lucky, he might tell you the story about the hot wings.
