This is a quick hello to anyone having a quick look at our new facebook page.Childrens disco classes at the Lait dance club have been running for over 30 years. In fact kelly,head teacher of disco , began disco dancing herslef when she was just 3 years old. Obviously our main activity is freestle and street dancing. We teach beginners right though to advanced children and adults that have been attending the school for many years. As well as classes , we also enter competitive events throughout East Anglia and beyond. Last year we had some regional champions as well as 1 national champion. Its not just individual dancing, we have pairs and formation teams that compete also. As i say, although we are mainly a freestyle dance club, we have alot of fun events as well. Already this year we have had a sponsored dance marathon and sleepover to raise money for funds for coach trips, costumes etc, and on sunday when a competition was cancelled due to the weather, we had a sledging and snowball day at christchurch park. In may we have a coach going to london for lessons at pineapple dance studio, famous for now well known tv personality louis spence. Why not come along and give us a look as i am sure you will love both the dancing, the fun and most of all the great people that attend lessons on a regular basis.
