Party: TONIGHT : Oozing Wound (thrill jockey) + Ghold + Clocked Out + Droves

Holyflamingfudgecakes batdude...

OOZING WOUND : Having the best time on the way to roadburn, gonna tear that festival a new ear hole, this noisy Chicago trio straddle the line between thrash and sludge in style. It's like Kreator circa '86 thrashed so hard they tore a hole in the space-time continuum and just about managed to binge through the High On Fire discography before going completely insane. Total slacker/waster punkrock mentality reigns throughout. Touring in support of their new album 'Earth Suck' on Thrill Jockey, this is their 2nd ever UK show. When will they ever come back? Coolest band from Chicago ever. Go on, fight me.

GHOLD :

Heavy bass'n'drum duo kicked out of Manchester for being too brutal and currently being barred from London venues at a rate of 3 a week... It's how Lightning Bolt would sound if you locked them in a cellar for several months with nothing but a bucket of bovril and a copy of the Melvins' ‘Bullhead’ for sustenance. New album due out on Ritual Productions (home of Bong, 11 Paranoias etc) in March. First time i put them on was at the 13th note for Sheet ov Samhain festival and they brought 3 8x10 bass cabs, stacked em up like standing stones in the south of england. TONE FUCKIN HENGE!

Clocked Out : Hard thrashing hardcore from the baddest boys in Glasgow. How dare they deliver the goods to such an untouchable standard time and time again. How very dare they. "DAHKNESS" - Paddy Connolly

Droves : New 2 piece guitar n drums n a whole load of amps experimental grindcore from the ashes of Gunfinger. Don't worry, they're always blazin'.
