Party: PLATINUM PRESENTS MARCUS SANTORO

Big talent in a small city- Melbourne’s Marcus Santoro, lights up the house- music fuses at the mere age of just 18. Aligning progressive and big room house euphoria with a sprig of trance behind the console; and a similar notion within the locked doors of the studio he has nailed his musical taste buds.

Scoping unique sounds and impeding on heavy vocals, large chords and melodies to fuel momentum from musical enthusiasts far and wide- Marcus’ talent has emerged. A producer from a young age of 12, he first drew inspiration from a family friend who was older- but owned DJ equipment. Pining to get on those bedroom decks, the sounds came organically growing together with his childhood audio assets in Michael Jackson, Coldplay and Daft Punk. Taking to the studio before his teens Dirty South and Axwell expanded his drive, reaffirming his beat.

Unstoppable, the Santoro profile has been tapped by Neon Records, Astrx by Ministry of Sound and Central Station where his genius puzzle to leave his head is imprinting itself on airwaves. ‘Open Your Eyes’ with Will K and Daniel Gregorio and Mitch Thompson on vocals hit the Beatport Progressive Chart at #34 while taking out #38 on the ARIA Club Chart. On trend, ‘on Fire’ with Apocolypto took out #48 on Beatport’s Electro House chart. While the audacious originals break with stamina, Marcus Santoro isn’t too far behind on remix demand for Silver Sneakerz & Quila on ‘Sound All Around You’, ‘Picking Up All The Pieces’ for Strange Talk and Ryan Riback featuring Terri B on ‘Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow’.

Filling floors at Good Life in his hometown of Melbourne, Marcus’ unleashing sound wins the battle in all musical ears, where support to Hardwell and local heroes The Stafford Brothers has defined the demand of his beat. 2014 shines a bright light on this talent reeling in collaborations with Feenixpawl, Jason Forte, Djuro and while Neon Records release ‘you & I’ with MITS while the original on ‘United’ with X Factor’s Mitch Thompson is also on cue.

Australia has welcomed its most refined electronic export - Marcus Santoro.
