Read more » The Royal Victoria Yacht Club is the oldest yacht club on Canada's Pacific coast, founded in 1892. Whether you actually like the water or prefer to stay on dry land, there's something for everyone here: "cruising" dinners, barbecues, dances, and special events for kids. The Clubhouse provides food services for members and their guests Wednesday through Sunday.Sailing instruction programs are offered for adults and children in a fun, safe, and positive learning environment. We offer the Canadian Yachting Association Learn to Sail standards as well as our unique Under 12 Program. Our program introduces basic sailing and racing skills, develops existing skills, provides advanced training, and improves confidence, all while you enjoy sailing in beautiful Cadboro Bay.
