Heavy rock icons Mastodon, announced a headline show at Dublin’s Academy later this year to support the bands sixth album called “Once More ‘Round the sun”. This is the first album since 2011’s The Hunter. It was recorded in Nashville with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz, who is known for his work with Rush, Deftones, Foo Fighters, and Alice In Chains.

The new album “Once More ‘Round The Sun” came out June 20th and debuted at No.8 in Ireland - available from

It was a good jump from the previous album “The Hunter” that debuted at No.26 here.

“The Motherload” is No.1 in Spotify Viral Top 50 tracks in Ireland this week.
