Party: Temple Agents (Chile)

Temple Agents is a hard rock band from Santiago, Chile formed in 2009 by their two founding members, Alejandro Solar and Fernando Elizalde.
2009 and 2010 marked the birth of many demos which were later recorded in Alba Road Studios with sound engineer Eduardo Demangel and studio owner and drummer, Dante “DNT” Gonzalez. Dante went on to become the band’s official drummer, and soon after the completion of the first recordings the band called on Matias “Mat” Escudero to become the official bass player and hence, the Temple Agents as they are now known were born!

Upon release of their demos in 2011 the band toured Chile, as well as performing as the opening act for the band Evanescence in October 2012. They were part of the major Line Up at Lollapalooza Chile 2013 alongside bands like Pearl Jam, The Black Keys, Queens of the Stone Age, A Perfect Circle and many more.

Temple Agents produced and recorded their debut album with Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Alter Bridge, Slash, Stone Temple Pilots, Incubus, Three days grace, Limp Bizkit, Chevelle) in Orlando, USA during August/September 2013 and it can be found in every digital store around the world.
Music from the album is on high rotation and played on radio stations and on line podcasts in Chile, USA and UK with great success.

It is now time for the band to embark on Australia, bringing their high energy, screaming guitar riffs and unforgettable vocals to our shores for the first time!
Mat Escudero has this to say about their upcoming Australian tour – “Australia comes to us as the land of opportunity in many senses of the word. With a unique culture and a similar geographical isolation to our own country, we can relate to a music scene where international acts are appreciated and welcomed. Also, it is very diverse country culturally speaking and we love that. We're sure that we will find our space there.
Every band we love have done an Aussie special edition album and we intend to do just that with our debut album for our fans down under! We couldn’t explain why we chose to tour Australia without mentioning our idols ACDC, Silver Chair and The Vines, to name a few. All amazing bands that have influenced our work as musicians and that we've praised as fans. Choosing to tour in Australia first, instead of the US, seems something natural and part of our growth as a band and individuals. We don't believe in coincidences and our history led us to this decision and this moment. We can see ourselves coming back to Australia over and over and in the long run, making it our base camp for Asia and other markets. In our experience, the US is no longer the Mecca of rock n roll, even though its music scene is unique and has a unique appeal; Australia and then the rest of the world is the way we want to ‘make it’!!”
