Oz to be sure is the brainchild of Brett Caldwell, an Illawarra musician who has long been known to turn his hand at many styles of music and adapted to his audiences at every turn.

Born and bred in the shadow of the mighty Escarpment, singer and guitarist Brett Caldwell is a stalwart of the Illawarra music scene. Brett has been playing in bands since primary school.

Brett toured solo and with other musicians around Europe over the past decade playing Australian and Irish folk music, in particular, Irish bars where he found the “craic” and brought it home to Australia, also the heart felt songs he learnt from the Irish bars and put together an array popular irish music with a group of amply talented musos.
